Very disappointing service. I went out to meet the driver and offer a hot drink etc. but it later turned out he did not dispense any oil because the tank was more than 10 years old. The worst thing was that he drove off after about 10 minutes without saying anything; he left a carbon copy of a site report which looked similar to a delivery receipt and I could so easily missed the fact that he hadn't actually filled the tank. This was less than 2 weeks before Christmas, it would have been common curtesy to explain what he was doing and/or offered to dispense a partial amount to keep us going over Christmas.

Received a leaflet from them offering 10 off my next order This is the company that I rang for quote. The salesman quoted a price double the one I had already got. When I said I can get it a lot cheaper he started slagging of a company I didnt know . I got my fuel half the price he quoted from somebody whom was further away. Do not use these cowboys.
Excellent service, always on time. Allow you to spread the costs over a period of time.
Did not deliver when promised then could not provide a date when they would. If you ring they will quote you a ridiculous price but then immediately match a competitor when you haggle. No longer a local company.
Complete liars and utterly incompetent.This company is no longer Butler Fuels. We have had an account with Butlers for over 20 years and they were superb. They have now been taken over by Certas. Remember the name Certas because they are an utter disgrace to the industry. They lie about delivery times. They are surly and rude on the phone and then don't return your phone calls when they promise they will. They advised my 80 year old mother-in-law to go out and buy a heater because they were weeks late supplying her oil.....and this was just after the days of the Blizzard. She is several hundred pounds in credit, but the minute that is used up, I will find another oil supplier and she will drop these idiots like a bad habit. Whoever is in charge of this joke of a company needs to get a grip, because judging by most of the reviews I've seen (on the certas website 84% say they are dreadful) they won't be in business much longer.
