Absolutely gorgeous food and 30 for 3 courses of the best I've had in a long time is outstanding value for money! Will definitely be back! Warm cosy atmosphere and staff giving a breakdown of the dish was very helpful. One of our party is gluten intolerant and this was catered for without any issues.

Honestly one of the best places I've ever eaten. My boyfriend and I travelled to Edinburgh for a few days and booked dinner here last minute and it was the best decision we ever made. Staff were incredibly friendly, atmosphere was so lovely, the food.. was absolutely incredible. We ordered the scallops and lamb sweetbread for starters, the lamb wellington for mains, and a nutella alaska (and another dessert I honestly forgot the name of). We wish we could go again - we heard they have a lovely little bakery during the day! Highly recommend

Had the 7 course tasting menu with wine and it was absolutely amazing. Wasn't cheap but worth every penny, the Scotch Egg and Scallop dishes were particularly good and wine matching was both excellent and generous in terms of portion size. Will be booking again for next special occasion and highly recommend. For reference we have eaten at many Michelin star restaurants with 1 and 3 stars and this place certainly measures up. Service was impeccable and friendly throughout.

The food is as good as it looks, a refreshing twist on Scottish produce from a simple menu. The prices are good value given the quality. It is a small space though and it does get busy so go early or book. The service is also worth mentioning as it matches the food and the dishes are explained as they are served. We were well attended to.
