We had the takeaway platter this past weekend and it was excellent. We took all afternoon over it and still had enough for lunch the next day. Super vfm (including the wine - a Sicilian Grillo - which was much better than your standard 'House') and super fresh. Will be back for more...

Best restaurant we've been to in a very long time. Drinks: excellent whiskey selection and cocktail was beautiful Food: Insane! The gintonic prawns a particular highlight. Both mains beautifully presented with excellent portions and quality. Good value for money too. Decor: Cozy and traditional without feeling run down. Could be overlooked from outside which would be a shame. Vibe: Pleasant and unpretentious. Waiting staff were relaxed which we both really like in a restaurant like this. Overall: Awesome quality and chilled experience, perfect for an escape from the kitchen or a cozy holiday meal.

We've been in The King's Wark twice now. Once in winter time, once in the summer. Both times we loved it! In winter there was a beautiful fire place on which added to the character of the place. The food, especially the seafood, is highly recommended. Our favourite pub in Edinburgh!
