Disappointing. Booked a table in advance for drinks expecting to be seated in their great outdoor area seen all over the website/facebook but instead got seated at a dingy bar table inside with the wood peeling and wobbly stools when there was booths and tables available outside. The inside area had no atmosphere, the bar was closed, had a staff member actually burp right in our faces whilst we were seated at the bar and it only had one other group inside as everyone else was out enjoying the beer garden. Asked a member of staff to sit in the outdoor area that we expected when we booked but told it wasn't possible, so let down we left after one drink.
Big open space outside. Big TV with football on (no sound) Order everything on the app so didn't really get to talk to anyone. Cocktails were nice. Atmosphere was a bit dead due to covid regulations.
Rude staff, non existent service. We were recommended to visit this pub to watch the football. On arrival we were met by a member of staff who could not have been more disinterested to welcome us in. Eventually he found us a table inside but reminded us several times that we only had 2 hours until we would have to leave. With no signal in the pub, we connected to their (incredibly slow) wifi to try and view the menu. After 15 minutes of not being served, we decided to leave. A hugely disappointing experience, we will not be returning.
This place is simply awesome. Atmosphere is very good and a good place to watch rugby. For group booking, it is really good, there are some upstairs room. Location is really really nice.. it is near National library. MUST TRY!!!! Please go with your friends and enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!
