There are three entrances to Kew. If you want the best one, this is it. Just proceed along the edge of the Kew Gardens, in a long arc, avoiding crowds and try spending quality time in the north-western corner, above the pond. Bliss.

Kew Gardens are definitely the best park and most organised from them all. If you’re coming from Elizabeth Gate’s be careful with the parking as the free parking places are only on the side of the park/ green area. There is traffic enforcers with motorcycles that are operating and you will get penalty very quickly.
We went for the Gruffalo trail which was amazing! My little one loved the characters there and always asks to go back! Definitely a thumbs up from us.
Lovely gate, well painted in a lovely shade of black. I would imagine the hinges are in very good nick with no squeaks but I didn't get the opportunity to see them in action. No idea where the gate leads, best read other reviews for that. I believe this gate used to be named after Queen Main, who was in power before Elizabeth.
Amazing place to visit, beautiful scenery and views!!
Expensive day ticket but annual pass is more cost effective. Car parking is extremely pricey at 7 daily charge
Lovely place but so expensive admission just to see a garden when National Trust offers so much more...
Very wet and windy day at Kew Gardens recently. Long queue to enter but understandable, as people needed to access their online tickets. Due to Covid restrictions and the weather, it was difficult to find somewhere sheltered to eat outside. More covered outside dining areas would be appreciated especially throughout the winter.
