Fantastic day out! We had such a great time with Ultimate on the River Thames and then again later in the year on the River Wye, while we stayed on their campsite in Glasbury.

Absolutely wonderful place. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind. The equipment is top notch. The prices are super reasonable. And of course the kayaking is absolutely phenomenal. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have an adenture.
During our stay at the River Wye Campsite we hired some canoes and kayaks for a day trip from Glasbury to Whitney on Wye. We found this to be the perfect length for our family stopping at the halfway point in Hay on Wye for lunch at the Three Tuns (Which was also really good). At the end of the trip to finished at the Boat Inn and decided to have an early dinner before getting picked up and returned to the start. The whole trip was brilliant. Ultimate's service was faultless and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Everything from covid issues to personal ability and river safety was covered in detail and simple to understand and take onboard. Everyone thought it was fantastic value for money and we will remember our experience forever. Thank you all so much!

Amazing trip with a fantastic company. We started from their base in Glasbury, which is a great location with free onsite parking, toilets, changing facilities and showers. We have used a number of companies over the years but none of them have been as good as this. From the moment we arrive the whole process was simple and very professional. All of our group was really impressed at how slick everything was from briefing and kitting up, to walking just a few meters from their base to the launch point. We canoed from Glasbury to Whitney on Wye (stopping in Hay on Wye for lunch), which is a particularly nice section of river with lots of wildlife and great views of the surrounding countryside. Once we arrived in Hay, we headed into the Three Tuns pub for food and had a great meal. The food was delicious and I'll be leaving them a separate review for that too. On arriving at the Boat Inn pub, we had some drinks before getting collected and taken back to their base in Glasbury. Before leaving we were able to get changed and have a quick shower. The toilets, showers and changing facilities were very clean, tidy and a great advantage to have use of at the end of your trip!! I would totally recommend this company and have already booked another date later in the year. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.. Thanks for everything and I hope you have a busy summer.
