Fantastic opticians, been going since I was 4 (I think) I'm now 34, and have never had any issues. The staff are so friendly and helpful. One lovely lady dropped me off some contact lenses just as lockdown hit because I had run out. She went out her way and above and beyond to help and dropped them right to my door, how kind!

Recently received my distance and reading glasses from Chandlers and I am delighted with their excellent service together with their professional, sympathetic and friendly approach .... but most of all with two pairs of spectacles that have fitted perfectly from Day 1 with no further adjustment being necessary! I have a complex prescription that means that the frames may not be too large and the lens’ must be very precisely made ..... I searched other High Street brands for over 8 weeks without any success at finding a suitable strong and lightweight frame (..... I wrongly believed that someone like Chandlers would be too expensive) ... and as soon as I wondered into this opticians I had two professional quality frames in my hands and they quickly ordered-in other choices for my selection Chandlers is an opticians’ Optician that focuses on providing you with the best quality without wasting money on “brands” that do not specialise in optical work My complex prescription requires precision work and I am able to tell the difference that their lens’ have made to my vision compared to the pair that I have just replaced. They are not made by an in-house factory but by the same company that made my own professional DSLR Camera Finally ... their specialist who carried out the eye test was a true professional was able to give me sound advice on how I should progress. Not wishing to just sell me pairs of glasses, he took time to discuss the beginnings of cataracts that are developing and to discuss how best to proceed from my point of view In all an excellent experience and great value for something that is so vital for my day to day life and well being. After all my searching the price that I paid was very similar to what was available elsewhere with the added plus of real ‘peace of mind’ Thankyou Martine and her team!
