Sat and ate in the carpark cause they were closed for covid but the food was brilliant

I visited here on a Saturday and it wasn’t as busy as I thought it would be. We went as a family of 4 and staff were wearing a fast mask. We ordered a sharing nachos for starters which I didn’t enjoy. For my main I ordered a ribs and steak meal and requested the steak be well-done but when it arrived it was cooked more like rare and even the waitress confirmed once I brought it to her attention. My plate was then taken away and I was under the impression I was going to get a freshly grilled well-done steak but they just returned the same steak that they threw back on the grill for a minute. The steak still was not cooked well-done and I was extremely disappointed that they took away my plate just to return a reheated piece of meat which I could not eat. I requested to speak with the manager but they didn’t turn up. My waitress in the end agreed to take some money off the bill. The most upsetting thing is I arrived at TGI very hungry as I waited all afternoon to eat but still left hungry. Don’t think I’ll be going back to this TGI.
My family took me here for a birthday lunch. Our server, Michael, was very pleasant and attentive. The food arrived in good time and hot. The quality of the food was great and Michael was ever ready to top up our drinks and sauces. Everything was nice and clean and the free slice or birthday cake was a nice touch.
We got a take away this time. Sat in the car ordered online picked up 25 minutes later. Great service but Entry and exit route could have been better signed and front desk staff could have guided customer's better. Will hopefully get better. Food still great.
I went there today with my daughters and grandchildren and we all had a great time. The Covid restrictions were top notch and we felt very safe. The food was very good, all freshly cooked, the price was reasonable and out server Ann Mari was very good, friendly and helpful, thank you !
