A hidden gem. Off the beaten track this hidden away National Trust property offers medieval history along with a picturesque house, farm and gardens. Take the time to walk up Godolphin hill to catch some of the best 360deg views in Cornwall.

The car park is open. The car park is free for National Trust members. You do need to book a time slot to see the gardens. The house is closed. You can park and walk around the countryside. You still need to pay for car parking. There are three walks around the countryside. One of the walks takes you to the top of Godolphin Hill and you have 360 degree view across the countryside. The walk is about 2 miles. Another walk takes you through the forest and across streams. This walk is about 1 mile. The house and cafe are closed. If visiting the gardens you can see the outside of the house.

A lovely afternoon walk in the woods even though it was a wet day. Well signposted and lovely autumnal colours.

Lovely low key gardens and old Cornish house (not open to the public). Extensive walks on the estate with great views to the sea.

Lovely place to visit and great looking old manor house. Plenty to see and some of the best walks with fantastic scenery . Great little National Trust cafe and shop . Take a walk up the hill and you will not be disappointed the views are amazing . Quite a long walk but defiantly worth the effort. A lot of mine shafts about which are signed and taped off for safety . Will be going back again as the walks are amazing . Would defiantly visiting this place
