The behavior of doctors and midwives is absolutely incomprehensible. Coming to Ward 9a with a high-risk pregnancy, you must wait an hour for admission, if not longer. When they finally accept you for tests that last half an hour, they send you back to the waiting room saying that it won't take long and you sit there for another two hours. Start taking care of your patients because I gave birth there 2 years ago and the approach to patients has not changed. In the same way, when I asked the midwife how long it would take because I could not sit in this position too long due to the high risk of pregnancy and the outflow of amniotic fluid, I only heard that they were very busy and again that it would not be long and I had waited a long time. And it was noticeable that in the room there were probably 8 or more midwives and a few doctors where some of them only sat and talked to each other while having a great time. No words for such staff.
Went to a&e screaming in agony on the 15th November. not knowing what was wrong! I’m 19 years old female. Everyone in a&e was lovely. However once admitted to hospital. I was then sent to a gynaecologist who at 5 in the morning took me to a freezing cold room where she then proded inside me and proceeded to stay in the room whilst I got up and changed. The next step is obviously scans which they apparently don’t do on a weekend but could see from my screaming and crying that it was clearly an emergency. So then the next morning I have three doctors telling me the pain is muscle pain and asking me what I’m scared of? As if my pain doesn’t exist. So I answered saying the nurse in a&e suggested kidney stones which was promptly shut down by the female doctor who said that she has kidney stones and made me feel like I was making it out to be some kind of pain that if I did have I was an absolute drama queen for reacting how I was! I was then released undiagnosed still in agony with a referral to ABERDEEN! For an ultrasound which I couldn’t have until February!!?. 1 month later still in absolute agony getting worse. i end up in Dundee nine wells hospital. Where within 48hours I was rushed to surgery because of a ruptured abscess. My right Fallopian tube has had to get removed, and I’ll be lucky if the left one hasn’t been permanently damaged and I can still have children. Thank you inverness a&e
I was in ward 7a for only 5 days and was looked after first class, these nurses and helpers were rushed of there feet but never did i hear anybody complaining, nothing was too much for these angels and they deserve all the praise that they get.
Great doctors and nurses doing their jobs.
