My grandson and i took the sea eagle tour with wild skye boat trips. It was perfect. Steve was a very knowledgeable guide and obviously loves Skye and the wild birds. He pointed out several eiries and provided binoculars to everyone so we could easily spot eagles on the nests. He showed us a fledling eagle and the experience of the eagles flying in next to the boat to catch fish is one neither me nor my grandson will ever forget. Steve was also kind and patient showing him how to fish off the boat and helping him reel in his first mackeral. I fully recommend this quietly thrilling trip. What a wonderful company

We booked the gentle explorer trip hoping to see some Eagles and Dolphins and were extremely fortunate to see Orca on our trip! This in itself was enough to give Wild Skye Boat Trips a 5 star rating but it was fantastic to see that our skipper Stephen had for all things nature. We stayed out longer on the trip to see more of the Orca and there was no additional charge. Stephen was very knowledgeable not only on the wildlife but he also gave an interesting insight into the island and the people who live there. We also saw Eagles and Dolphins on the same trip. I would highly recommend Stephen and Wild Skye Boat Trips.
An absolutely wonderful experience. We went on an evening trip for a couple of hours with our 4 and 8 year old and saw seals and sea eagles. The setting is spectacular with the backdrop of the Cuillin Mountains which were lit up for us by the Hebredian sunset. Stephen was relaxed, informative and let our boys drive the boat, much to their delight. We also had an hour or so fishing in the loch where we all caught our first fish within a short time. Can't recommend this experience enough.
This was the highlight of our trip to Skye! Stephen was so nice, he welcomed our family and gave us such an interesting journey. The sea eagles were fantastic and Stephen is so knowledgable and evidently passionate about the wildlife. Highly highly recommended! Thank you!
