Visited this store after seeing the "sale" notices in the window, offering up to 50% off some lines. There are loads of trainers on offer.. especially Adidas, which i collect. I had a look around and was pleased to see a large selection of Fred Perry wear. There were loads of bargins and i bought a polo shirt for 30, down from 60. The shop was well stocked.. i could of spent hundreds in there. THE STAFF were awful. Disinterested and too busy chatting away to each other. It wasn't busy but no staff seemed available. I waited by the till for nearly 5 minutes waiting to make my purchase . A real shame is i could of been persuaded to spend more money. The 2 stars are for the stock and the bargains. The staff deserve nothing.
Before lockdown I attended this store and purchased new trainers for my sons xmas present was a very pleasant experience even though the shop was very busy staff were very attentive overall good service provided
If you’re buying online be aware that they might not even know if they have the order ready and also won’t have any expectations of ETA. Just if I knew.. before won’t have bought from them. I’ve done a purchase 6 days ago and is not even dispatched. Hope it helps anyone.

This shop features a broad range of trainers inside, some of which are really cool. It feels a bit dark and claustrophobic inside that the shop kind of makes you want to leave earlier than you would like to leave. They could really do with changing the layout in here somehow to make it more friendly for customers to browse around and check out the merch.
Staff were NOT covid secure. Only 1 member of staff correctly wearing a mask. No social distancing between staff and customers. Not comfortable for a tier 2 zone.
I used this jd sports a little while back and have been meaning to review very poor service and lack of organization at this store not impressed
