Lovely walk through hale village to the little craggy beach passed the child if hale statue . A walk through time.

Chocolate box cottage, John Middleton (the Child of Hale) grew up in this house. Standing at 9ft. 3inches he would have been a giant even by today's standards, legend has it he used to sleep with his feet out window! There is a life size statue of the big fella between the cottage and St. Mary's church, he was laid to rest in the historic churchyard.
