Fabulous van for our Welsh road trip! This is a great size van with all the mod cons for a family of four - and even a full size wine chiller! The two single bunk beds were super comfortable for the kids but I think they’d easily accommodate adults. The kitchen and shower room made stop offs easy as you had everything you needed for wild camping. The van was a good size, a luxury to be able to stand up, lots of cupboard space and more compact than larger motor homes, which makes driving a dream. Will definitely hire again!

Just returned from our trip to Lake Garda. Drove over 2000 miles in Oakley and it was an absolute breeze. Kids loved the freedom and variety of places we visited on the way. Very comfortable drive, excellent handling and was very easy to park even with the excellent bike rack attached. It took those Swiss alps with ease. Very comprehensive and easy to follow instructions on all the features. As a first time user I’d definitely recommend Lake District campers and Oakley for that special trip. Lawrence. Excellent trip to the West Coast of Scotland and Skye. Pity about the weather, though! The van was great to drive even on the single track roads and had every comfort you could want. Stacy and Craig couldn't have been more helpful. Would highly recommend Lake District Campers for anyone thinking of hiring a compact and versatile motor home.
We were extremely impressed by both the van and the personal and friendly service provided by Lake District Campers. The van is well appointed and we were given a detailed and helpful handover at pick up. The van itself is easy and comfortable to drive and a delight to live in. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and wouldn't hesitate to hire again. Very highly recommended.
Excellent service and Camper vans. This is the place to hire look no further. This is our second year hiring with Stacy and Craig and will be returning next year for a brand new adventure. Feel like you need to experience the Camper Van life without the large commitment of ownership, this is it. Oakley is a really comfortable home on the road which was well equipped for our recent adventure to the Cotswolds. Looking forward to driving out into the sunset again.
