Shame they don’t have a re-use shop like some of the others, As the stuff I see people throwing away here is often too good for the bin, and someone else could make use of it. Money could be made selling to help charity st Catherine’s hospice or to improve the environment for everyone plant some trees flowers etc...

Very efficient place, friendly helpful staff. But run by accountants... no inert waste, only one type of waste at once, no trailers without an appointment. These are ways employed to reduce the waste going to the tip, thet do not reduce the total waste. Now my general house waste comes out of the house bin, whilst my inert waste, electric items, or whatever the least of goes in the household bin, and Farrington gets the rest. Well done bean counters.

Staff are great help with all things. They used to be able to help you empty the car but due to covid this is no longer possible. Still managed to get all the stuff recycled with out any issues.
