Nice walks within woodland. Some 2 miles from Newborough Beach. There are red squirrels and woodpeckers in the forest

We go here every time we come to Anglesey. Terrific walk with the dogs, either on the track or on grassy paths off to the sides to the depths of the forest. Interesting plants, insects and birds. Fallen trees have been left to rot and create homes for beetles and other insects. Beautiful, peaceful plus some woodland picnic tables to relax at. Well worth the visit.

Handy free car park with access to Lon Las Cefni cycle trail although the ride itself is uninspiring also access to Newborough Beach through the forest BUT it is a LONG walk

Really stunning woodlands with many bird species and red squirrels to be seen. Forest is now managed by the local community who organise events, forest school, volunteering and training opportunities.

We had a beautiful walk around the woods. I've been looking all over for 2 years to see the Red Squirrels and I finally got my wish. Right near the seating area. It was amazing. So clean and tidy except for a local dropping his Orange skin in the car park, which absolutely disgusted us

Beautiful woodland walk, didn't manage to sight any squirrels tho maybe they were having a siesta?

Fabulous park for spotting Red squirrels, woodpeckers and a wide range of birds. Pathways in the forest for walks, not wheelchair friendly though.

A beautiful spot to take a walk, enjoy the wildlife, have a picnic and relax.
