Albert Gardens is a green, small and cute park, which is located between Shadwell and Limehouse on Commercial Road. It is a quiet and never overcrowded garden that is especially visited by local people who live in the local community. It is enjoyable for people who want to get some fresh air, run, walk and read. There is a small play area for children and you can often admire squirrels and birds there. The shape of the garden and the way in which is surronded by trees it reminds me vaguely a secret garden...

I have happy memories of Albert Gardens, was paying a visit after moving away 60 years ago, we just sat in the gardens and relaxed.
