Excellent service and most lovely staff ever! I had to renew my passport and within 20 min of signing the documents they gave it to me and I was on my way home. I have to say there are few downsides, first of all they were shut throughout the first lockdown, the day the reopened I called them as soon as they opened the phone line to take an appointment to renew my passport and the earliest they had space was 4 and half months later. The second problem was that they gave me a very specific time and kept mentioning not to arrive early but only 5 min before the appointment, luckily I didn’t follow this and arrived 40 min before my appointment only to find out that I had to queue anyways regardless of the time on my appointment and so I was in a queue for 2 hours. But honestly it’s the best functioning embassy I’ve ever been to. Within 3 hours I had a new passport! Sounds like a dream ! And the staff was absolutely fantastic, everyone was super helpful and kind, I wish I could find a way to say thank you for the lovely time there.

Bit of weird place. Massive building, but not much \space\ to serve customers. Seems all a bit messy. But there is a Ferrari in the drive way, so that is nice to look at!
Went to the Thai Embassy today expecting a similar experience to the one I experienced in the Italian embassy which I was dreading. But it was like chalk and cheese the staff were pleasant there unlike the Italian embassy who where just surly, no heavy security guards. They even spoke better English The place was cleaner and used modern technology we were in and out in less than half an hour and that was without an appointment. And to top it off their prices were a lot cheaper. ITALIAN EMBASSY YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES. Or maybe send a delagate to the Thai Embassy you might learn something.
I called once. Asked about rules entering Italy. The person on the phone claimed they could not hear me and hung up. I called again, no answer. I called again, no answer. I called again, no answer.
Rude people. the people here employed by the Italy government are so rude no manners.
