We used Bar Hire Company for a Christmas party and it was amazing. The bar was perfect and the staff were great. No issues at all and we wouldn't hesitate to book them again. Thank you

Well ........ firstly may I say this is my view and under the freedom of speech act 1998 I apply my right to do so . My wedding reception was a near disaster if not for the small local village pub who saved the day ..... supplying our guests with beers . The bar was not as described by Oliver Pugh and was two old pieces of timber ..... these only got stood up in front of a work top at our venue after I complained to the two bar staff . Many calls to Oliver Pugh....... No answer. The bar was so limited and it was painfull.. No ice warm bottles .... it went on. In my opinion I we should have used a local bar to do our wedding reception , a local business I could trust and a reliable point of contact. As for trying to retrieve our deposit ..... Well very hard work as it was like dealing with the school tuck shop in my opinion. Do your own research. Worked with some of the UK’s best brands and most importantly WE NEVER RUN OUT OF STOCK.................. Quoted from web site ...... what a utter lie and total joke !
Unfortunately after supplying bar hire company (Oliver Pugh - Owner) in an emergency last minute booking and making it a complete success for there customer on the mobile cocktail bar hire, glassware hire and cocktail mixologist hire front they still owe Flirtina Events originally 750 for which 7 deadlines have now been broken, of course this is now more... No attempt has been made to contact us about a payment date unfortunately even after tracking down the owner via multiple social media. We dealt with Oliver Pugh who seems to be the owner although his phone no longer works and both business numbers go through to an Internet connection all making this company look fraudulent - finally found a number that works now and they still ignore! If you are booking services with bar hire company or Oliver Pugh please sign a contract and check the details. If we have had followed our company procedure on the day for not receiving payments in advance the customer would of been without staff and a bar on the day which you imagine would of been awful. We shall be taking the matter further to the small claims courts and presenting all photographic, cyber and written evidence of this booking. We have dealt with hundreds of bar hire companies across the world, amazing ones, awful ones & worse ones but never have we had to take further action other than a late fee. Simply this is disgraceful and an embarrassment to the beautiful industry of events, they dont serve to trade if this is how they treat suppliers and customers. After investigating a second company Oliver Pugh owns they have shown complete negligence towards customers and don't seem to follow there duties of care, watch out they are looking more fraudulent the more we investigate. NEWLY ADDED I urge any suppliers especially dealing with this character to take full payment in advance as we have record of him knowingly not paying multiple suppliers who we've been in contact with since this post and this is fraud!
Disappointed to find out we paid them to do the event and then paid other suppliers to do it or should i say never paid them as we have been contacted about them multiple times. Completely wrong they did a great job!
My experience couldn't be much different to the whomever the person is below! Brilliant team, fun to be around, paid on-time and best of all made us some bloody great drinks!
