Got the valentine's takeaway box, it was really tasty. Unfortunately, even though I collected and drove 5 mins home it was stone cold and the burger looked precooked with burnt cheese. Had it been fresh and hot this would have been 5*. Possibly overstretched on the night? Will be happy to give them another try at a later date and re-rate.

Possibly my favourite place to eat. Lovely when you can go and lovely when you can eat at home. We always get too much food because we love it so much.
Fantastic Service, especially during Covid as necessary precautions taken. Food was to die for all except the Steak and Ale pie which unfortunately was bland and mainly thick pastry. Sharing platter was the best platter we’ve ever had bar none. Super impressed with how hot the food was served and the staff were especially good well done all. We will be back.
Always love going to The Fat Boar! Staff are always very friendly, and happy to help. Service is always really good and never had a bad meal here! Will be going back shortly!
Warm atmosphere with excellent food. Very good service from Lucy our waitress. Definitely worth another night out.
