Lovely place for a visit. House and Gardens are well maintained as you'd expect from the National Trust. Staff are friendly and informative about the rich history of this charming property. Plenty of free parking. The restaurant is excellent, though not very large. There are other options to buy snacks/drinks.

Lovely place to walk. Huge amount of walks and accessible grounds. The cup and saucer water feature is awesome.

The only thing open was the gardens but had a lovely time.

Thank goodness. Another NT estate is back open. Booking essential or you'll be turned away. Had QR codes at the ready but weren't needed as NT staff have printouts of who to expect and will tick you off. Entrance to garden is in different position adjacent to car park. Staff extremely helpful. Gardens every bit as memorable as previously. After a fair walk around the grounds (look for the coloured posts) we returned to the gardens for one of our number to have a well deserved Magnum from the parlour - Errdig's cafe that is serving hot drinks, ice creams and snacks. We'll be back again. More walking routes that investigate. Recommended.

Really great place to visit. Lovely gardens and fabulous for a picnic. Can't comment on the restaurant as did not use it. Gardens mainly pram friendly (the odd step about but nothing major). The sunloungers on the lawn were a lovely touch for sitting for 5 to take in the view. Walks around the grounds not pram friendly!

Another National Trust gem of a property. Took advantage of the guided tour around the servants quarters. Quite interesting and informative. It's nice to know the history and story behind these stately homes. Exquisite gardens and views with delightful walks around the estate. Very family friendly with a dedicated children's area. They seemed to love it. I would recommend Errdig if you're looking for a nice full day out.

Lovely house, kept in great condition. The gardens are amazing too, the bee trail is great for kids. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful, very nice people. Enjoyed the day. Lots of hidden figurines and sculptures in the gardens to find. The wolf den is awesome for kids, massive play and learning area.

I had only intended visiting the gardens but ended up going in the hall as well. Both were well worth seeing, the hall has been very well preserved and you are able to access a large part of the hall. Photography is permitted as long as flash is not used. The gardens well planted with a large variety of plants and it was good to see a large proportion are labelled. The old out buildings displayed some nice old vintage cars and other equipment. There are a few walks of varying lengths around the grounds & these are nice for a pleasant stroll on a nice day. The cup and saucer is well worth a visit and is only about 10 minutes from the hall.
