Another excellent and outstanding National Trust Property. The secret garden and the big garden were truly remarkable unlike anything I had every seen at any trust property The scale of the Silva particularly the Oak trees are really stunning. The view across the straits to Anglesey from the castle wall is really dramatic. We'll worth a visit.

Magnificent castle in fantastic grounds with the most beautiful scenery. Disappointed however in the number of rooms available for viewing and the lack of facilities e.g. Shop closed and no seating inside at the cafe.
Jolly good day spent at Penrhyn Castle. All National Trust staff are helpful and friendly. But they seemed to go the extra mile here. Especially Roger the castle transport driver. Very impressive place with tons of stuff to see, loads to explore. Go back in time with The Victorian Kitchen. We really enjoyed The Walled Garden and inside the castle. Truly amazing architecture and artifacts inside. The day went so quick. That's how you've had a good time
Great Castle but the rooms are being ruined by National Trust virtue signaling exhibition signs. I visit for the History not the opinions of a 10 year old or the Trusts new Wokeness. 'It's a bit dark'.. Ah the History.. 'No the lighting, open the blinds and turn up the lights' We darkened it to show off the Children's exhibition...
love this castle however as with other places I think the house should be open for restricted viewings.. no reason this cannot be accomplished in a safe manner now...gardens were great as always.
A beautiful castle as viewed from the outside. I though 15 was a bit steep for entry price, especially off-peak season, so my partner and I didn't go inside. However the grounds were free and available to roam, which is great and I enjoyed walking around with my puppy. There was a nearby woodlands walk next to the river which was stunning as well and had a tree house / play area which was pretty well made. If the entry price was just a little less, I would have gone in. So fingers crossed next time there's a deal - would definitely go again and recommend! Even just for the woodland walk! Dogs would love it!
Amazing views and a lovely walk round. Definitely head back once the castle itself is open. (Closed due to Covid). Good coffee from the cafe and nice ice cream from the stand.
This is a beautifully castle staff are very helpful. The local children where doing a history scene of slavery. This is such a good idea because history teaches us how to make changes to our lives. Wales should be proud of their children local history and our history is important
