Our favourite bar in Newcastle! We've been going to The Botantist for years and have never had a bad visit. Cocktails are great although quite pricey. Good atmosphere and quick service. The measures they have taken to adhere to social distancing also made us feel at ease.

Nice surroundings and good vibes. A good spot for a casual drink, we didn’t eat here but visited for cocktails on Friday night. We booked in advance due to COVID. Ordering was easy through the website and service was speedy and pleasant. 4 stars due to the fact we were a little disappointed with the cocktails on offer, they were nice but nothing hugely exciting.

Went day before lockdown 2. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Had the buttered chicken burger. Thick cooked chips not really worth extra money and they were frozen. But everything else most enjoyable
Absolutely loved this place. Amazing interior! We received a warm welcome and had a fantastic waitress. Our food was delicious, as well as the drinks. When I'm back in Newcastle, I'm coming back for sure! Thanks!
