Had tasty snack 'Dirty Fries' topped with tinga sauce, vegan mayo & crispy tobacco onions. The chips where nice and crispy. Good portions. Price was moderate at 6. Also had nice cup of tea and a cup of latte. Good relaxing atmosphere. The table service was quick and efficient.

One of the many M&B Castle brand pubs around, but just like they’re aiming for, you’d be hard pressed to know it’s a chain. Decent variety of beer and cider on permanent feature, but also a nice rotation of guest beers present. Decent sized beer garden, with half under cover, half open. There’s also a pub quiz on a Wednesday...the pub quiz quizmaster may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I thought he was pretty hilarious. Oh and the food is pretty good as well. The fried chicken in my photo uploaded is a staple of mine, always of m consistent good quality. The menu is a good enough size to provide enough options for a wide range of people, without being too over complicated.
Front of house deserve a pay rise! My wife came for the beyond meat burger and the kitchen didn’t have any left. Dominic ran across the road and came back with x4 fresh beyond meat burgers in hand! Amazing initiative, fantastic service! You just earned a customer for life.

Visited on lunch time and sat out front in sunshine, the young lady that served us was a credit to the company, friendly helpful and very efficient. Our food was well cooked hot and delicious and served to us by an equally efficient and friendly young man. A very pleasant afternoon, thank you.
Good covid provisions. Pleasant helpful staff. Food was decent for a place like this hot tasty and varied. Standout dish was the nachos they were excellent.
Went for food with some friends. Food was top notch. Served by a male called Liam, very friendly and full of top quality banter, what a chap. Would recommend 10/10.
