We have been visiting Wildwood for a few years & always enjoy our time at this park. The staff have done a wonderful job prepping the park for visitors ensuring it feels safe and still welcoming with plenty of hand sanitiser stations, extra toilets and making social distancing stress free. The atmosphere at Escot is always altogether calmer and friendlier and feels a world away compared to the larger animal parks. There are regular animal talks and feeding times that adults and children alike will enjoy. The birds of prey shows are very entertaining and well worth planning into your day. There are sufficient play areas for children of all ages all set among the wonderful woodland plus the superb maze will while away a good proportion of time. There's even an indoor soft play area for those wetter days. The Saxon village offers a fun & interactive experience & the staff throughout the park are informed, enthusiastic and friendly. The cafe offers a varied & delicious menu at affordable prices and you can opt to eat in or in the courtyard. We can't recommend this park enough and visit throughout the year as each season seems to offer something a little different. It is most definitely worth becoming a member.

We had never heard about this place and only dropped in by chance and we were so happy we did . A lot to see here and the staff really love what they do . We really enjoyed the Saxon village. Definitely a day to remember and great for all ages .
A good walk, we visited on a wet day which some animals didn't seem to appreciate. Squirrel walk is good fun and they seem to be doing more to it. Had a good chat with the villagers.
Really enjoy out time here. Saxon village was the best but the children enjoy the drop slide and play area.
First time visiting .we had a lovely afternoon. Weather was good(if wet wear wellies as can get muddy in places) enough to keep kids occupied for a few hours, wolfs, wild boar, otter family, birds. There is a restaurant with a small menu. But overall we had a nice time.
We didn't actually get to see many animals (in fact, just a few birds and boar) and some of the enclosures were very small but the grounds were nice to walk around.
Love coming to Wildwood, so much to see and do for all ages. The staff are really friendly and will stop and chat about the animals if you want to ask questions. I have a yearly membership and as a family we visit all year round
Lovely couple of hours walking round a fascinating Saxon village, conquering the maze and seeing the animals. The rope swing and zip wire were super fun. Welcoming, friendly staff and a good range of products in the gift shop.
