My mother in law has 3 visits per day. 2 of the carers that come are great. However, we have had so many issues with the others. Vital medication missed, tablets dropped on the floor, cross infection procedures not followed, arriving late with no notification, working in a leather jacket stinking of smoke. Twice carers have turned up on our door and said \ I'm new I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing.\ Some of these issues have been referred to safe guarding. We have met with the manager Kate who made the right noises but appears to have done absolutely nothing with us having had no feedback from her in over a month. We have just heard today that Q Care will no longer provide a service for my mother in law. It would seem that rather than put right their multiple failings they drop the client. It's usually not the girls fault but lack of training and being under staffed. I'm not sure what the \Q\ in Q Care stands for but it most certainly is NOT Quality!!
