The fragmented ruins of Blantyre Priory, a house of Augustinian Canons, which was founded by Patrick, Earl of Dunbar and his wife 1239 x 48, and was dedicated to the Holy Rood. The remains are in extremely poor condition and much is under heavy vegetation.
