We stayed in the marquee area, recently added to the venue. It has a very welcoming ambience. We absolutely enjoyed the food, best chips I've ever had. We look forward to coming again when we're back in the area! Everything was great. I highly recommended this restaurant.

Turned up without a reservation, seated us in the marquee no problem. Friendly staff, good prices. Food took about 45/50 minutes to arrive, no cheese on the burger but overall pretty good. Understandable for a busy Saturday night. Would try again.
Lovely riverside spot. Sheep across river, ducks this side. Dip a toe in the water with a pint, or rest on the grass. Excellent food. Friendly and interesting owners and staff. Amazing spot to read a book, and rest on a Woodford valley bike ride. Excellent food (a touch pricey compared to similar food in other pubs, but worth it for location)!
Lovely location, friendly but slow service (to be fair there was a wedding reception in the marquee) and most importantly lovely food. Super chips both potato and sweet potato, great whitebait for me and a lovely treacle tart with custard. All while sitting in the sun watching the swans and cygnets.
Until the very recent increase in Tier level, the meals served out in the lovely marquee were delicious. Now they aren't allowed. I would recommend The Bridge for as soon as they can return to serving! COVID secure and a lovely setting.
