Tut tut tut . Not impressed at all. They are usually lovely, never before have I had any chips this bad from any local chippy in our area, we like a chippy meal every now and then but today has turned us right off them.we are so glad we only had the chips today due to being in a rush traveling somewhere else.We think the chips had been cooked for a few hours in the busy period and left in the pan to keep warm but any good chippy should know that this just dries up the inside of the potato. So yes I will probably go to scoffs again but never in the quiet period I won't mind the long waiting que as then I will be getting a nice chippy meal and not throwing money in the bin.

Proper black country chippy and amazing value for money. I travel past 3 fish and chip shops on my way to it as none of them compare! Give it a try it wont disappoint!
