Slipped on ice and hit my hand elbow and shoulder and hand badly grased it. My right hand bled.

Great place for a loop of Jacobs ladder on your mtb, walkers are actually very kind and considerate when you pass. The town and surrounding area is just stunning to see, a national treasure.

A nice flat walk from new mills to hayfield, you can see some interesting things at the torrs in new mills, the nice scenery on the way to hayfield, just a 2 and half mile walk. You can then carry on to kinder and beyond from hayfield.

Lovely location for a short gentle walk or a longer walk for the more energetic. We walked from the Visitor Centre at Hayfield to Birch Vale, which took about 25 mins. It's a very level path and suitable for wheelchairs, mobility cycles and bicycles. We stopped at one of the many benches along the route to have our packed lunch. Lovely views along the route.
