It's never been the greatest pub in the world but it was a lovely hot day so thought we'd call in. Despite many signs showing their new post Covid opening times, and indicating that the pub should be open, it was very much closed. So we went to another, better pub.

Good range of food from about 5 to 12, well kept black sheep bitter, excellent covid-19 precautions. Nice location overlooking the river and very pleasant inside.

Nice place to spend an afternoon. Tables slightly too close together for effective distancing when full, but otherwise excellent Covid precautions.

Lovely staff - beautiful setting over looking the park and river. Really well organised for current situation - hand gel on entry- with polite request. Allocation of table and table service - one payment at end of visit with socially distancing at the bar. Family run business and it shows!
