The amazing ward family arranged my fathers funeral in November, from the very first phone call I knew my father would be in great hands with this family. Myself and my family were always greeted with a warm smile and a welcome at the door and it never seemed a bother with any phone call, question or request. They took amazing care of my father and my entire family, we were all welcome at any time of the day or night if we felt the need to visit. The funeral was just what my father would have wanted, even the driver managed to put a smile on all our faces which was just what we needed at such a hard time. Colin ward were so understanding about payment for the funeral coming in instalments and money was never at the for front, care and compassion was what mattered most. Colin, lynne, Ian and Michelle thankyou for everything and we wish you all the best.

As a family we have been in contact with Colin Ward Funeral Services since my father in law decided he wanted them to deal with his funeral when he passed. He couldn’t have chosen a better company, which is also a family run business. My Mother in law wanted to see him in their chapel of rest on a Saturday when they are closed and they were more than happy to accommodate. We have had excellent service right from the beginning and i would recommend them to anyone.

Given the fact Mr Ward screwed over the co operative funeral I would not trust him as far as I could throw him. I am going to the Ombudsman to make a formal complaint with regards to a funeral arrangement that was made with the company. An arrangement had been made some time ago and all paid for in advance, so Mr Ward had been currently sat on the money earning interest. When the person in question died we found that we had a big shortfall to pay that we were taken a back with. He said his rates had gone up ! Yes, well considerably! I felt he just wants to eke out as much money as he can from the customer. We just had bad customer service with him right from the start. He could only think about the money, and he made me feel very uncomfortable sat in his office. Do not use his services. One heartless funeral director.
