Great service, great food and great portion sizes. A repeat customer with my family (and friends when allowed) who all love the food and friendly service. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough! You really leave feeling full!

Delightful, quaint and tranquil surroundings overlooking bowling green.Food was of high quality and justifies the price. 9.95 for full English medium, more than enough for my healthy appetite2.95 for a cappuccino. Would have given them 5* if they had not forgotten my eggs. Definitely reccomend them. Friendly and polite staff . Thank you

Quaint little place. Food was tasty but service was unfortunately poor; we wanted to stay for dessert and then coffee but had to get back to the car to avoid getting ticket for being out of time (2 hours). Was worth a visit though.

A grotty, unloved exterior hides a unique art deco restaurant overlooking a bowling green. We went for Sunday roast on a wet afternoon and were welcomed into the cosy and relaxed dining room. It is packed with period original features. The large roast beef was very generous, with excellent roast potatoes and a very large home made Yorkshire pudding. Afternoon tea is also served. Fit to burst, we took home some excellent coffee cake. Highly recommended.
