Took my elderly mum here for an eye test and replacement glasses. Online booking process worked well. Covid measures were thorough and it felt safe. But the 5* are particularly for customer service. Megan was extremely helpful and arranged for the speedy couriering of Mum's new glasses, which she could not travel to collect, already measured and adjusted so they would fit. When Mum broke a pair only a week or so later, when local Covid restrictions had increased, she immediately came up with a safe way of repairing or replacing them. Very impressed.

Don’t waste your time! No communication with staff they haven’t a clue what there doing! Bought glasses these are to big been measured wrong! Booked a 1 hour appointment in 5 members of staff rang me to confirm, I arrived the girl sat me down for an eye test then took my in the options room!!! I said I have already had the eye test she laughed said sorry take a seat! The assistant manager then takes me in the opticians room again no communication passes me the iPad and said listen to that! I said I did this the other day I have a 1 hour appointment booked? She said oh sorry will re book you he’s not in today !!! Absolute joke time wasters don’t know there arse from there elbow fuming 5 members of staff called to confirm and no one picked up someone booked it in under somone who’s only in Tuesdays...

Went to Specsavers Halewood couple of weeks ago. After a bad start I spoke with Adam Ormrod who helped me get my problem sorted out with my glasses, there was a slight mis-understanding regarding prices to get the anti-glare added to the lenses after I had picked my glasses up. Went back into store and everything went really well. I was looked after by Nicole who made sure the glasses where comfortable. After 3 visits everything is now perfect. I will visit this store again in the future (if they will have me)!

Got an appt quickly as was very concerned about my eye due to health concerns. Found the general staff very empathetic. Sadly when I was passed thru to the optician I got the feeling he was just going thru the motions and I was wasting his time. Came across as cold and felt like he was just going thru the motions to tick the boxes.

Had an appointment at Halewood specsavers yesterday, Despite the size of the shop, cutomers were all huddled into one corner of the shop, very noisy, While doing eye tests cupboard doors banging on ajoining walls impossible to concentrate , However the day was saved by junior assistant Tom who tested my eyes, He was very thorough ,patience and well mannerd , A credit to the shop
