My regular opticians for my checkup. All the staff are very pleasant and helpful. Great choice of frames too. I won't be changing my opticians for sure.

I have been going to Specsavers in the Rivergate shopping centre for years for my glasses, sunglasses and contact lenses. Staff is helpful and friendly. Prices are affordable and offers are multiple. The down side is that there are so many opticians, optometrists etc... that we never get the same person so there is no continuity and consistency for a 5 stars rating.

Sloooooow service. I booked in online and they messed up and had to rebook me in. Appointment ended up running about half an hour late. I have really bad eyesight and needed new glasses. Problem is, I can't see more than a few inches in front of my face, so I can't see what I look like when I try the glasses on! So I always bring someone to help me. The staff on this occasion wouldn't let my mum (who I lived with at the time) in to help me so I ended up buying my glasses elsewhere. For a shop who provides a service the the visually impaired I thought this was bananas tbh. The optician who I saw was absolutely lovely though!
