Really impressed with our visit to this restaurant, a visit which was made due to a recommendation, and what an excellent recommendation it was! Food was excellent, and nice to be a bit different to the norm, good portion sizes as well. Service couldn't be faulted at all, all the staff were friendly. Restaurant felt nicely spaced out for Covid too. Went on a Friday night, so the Jazz musician was there, which is a great bonus. The only dilemma is whether to go back to the St Albans restaurant, or try one of the other Lussmanns restaurants, or maybe just do both...!!

EVERYTHING WAS SUPERB AND AMAZING QUALITY! Made a reservation for this place for a Wednesday evening. Not sure but feel like its probably unlikely to get a table from just walking in. The table ordered the Hunter's Linguine, South Coast devilled sprats and Roasted beetroot and Wobbly Bottom goat’s cheese salad. The sprats had a great crispy texture and retained their flavours. I didn't try the salad. The hunters linguine was fantastic. It was creamy, tasty, and the hare was awesome. I had the steak frites for main and it provided everything you could ask for in a steak and fries meal. Very satisfying to eat as the steak was juicy. For dessert, I got the creme brulee and that was perfect as well. You can't fault this place and I can't wait to go here again!
Cousins and I had a lovely evening here. Amazing service and great food. Definitely worth it!

Superb lunch even with social distancing. The fish cake was cooked beautifully. Great flavours and passionate about sustainability. My two girls both had steak frites, which was done wonderfully. I usually go to the Hertford restaurant, but this venue is lovely and would strongly recommend. Staff are attentive and helpful. Restaurant clean and comfortable.
