My children have developed confidence in the water here whilst learning correct techniques and all in a safe environment. Would highly recommend this swimming school.

My son has attended Aqua Seals for several years and has loved every minute of it. The teachers/instructors are very approachable and polite to deal with. My son is now a very confident swimmer thanks to all the help and tuition he has received in and out of the pool. I would highly recommend Aqua Seals to everyone.

I have just read the review posted by Darren Madden and I felt I had to write this. What he has said is completely untrue and unfair. Firstly what he is saying is factually incorrect, in terms of there being no shallow end and the owner just sitting around reading the paper. Secondly the comments regarding the instructor are not true at all. My daughter has been attending weekly classes at Stockport Grammar since she was 3 1/2 years old. She has progressed at what I feel is the correct pace through all the classes and is now in the deep end. She has had the same instructor for the duration of her time in each class, only changing to a different instructor when she has moved up a class. I certainly don't feel the classes have been oversubscribed, in fact in her current class and the one previous there have been only her and 1 or 2 others. Children who attend other swim schools may very well progress through the classes quicker but I don't see this as a good thing at all, I feel confident that they will only progress children once they are reaching the required levels and I feel confident that my daughter has been taught to be a strong and confident swimmer. All the instructors seem to me to be trained and experienced, taking the time to get to know each child in terms of there confidence and abilities. They cater for 1 to 1 tuition if required, in fact I have seen said owner in the pool teaching on several occasions. They also always seem happy and willing to talk to parents about any concerns or issues they have. Please do not read any truth into what the previous reviewer has said.

Moved both my children from other swimming classes to Aqua Seals and very happy with the progress they have made. Particularly like the fact there are helpers in the water for the younger children which helps to keep a good instructor/student ratio, meaning they get the attention they require. Lorna is particularly helpful and co-operative and they don't give out badges for the sake of it! The children really have to achieve the correct technique to earn their badges. Highly recommended.

Both my children have been going to aqua seals for about seven years for my daughter who graduated last year and most recently I take my son and have done for approx 18 months. In my opinion, the owner Lorna is fantastic and always has complete control over the lessons. She has been very accommodating and always listens to any concerns I may have with regards to my sons learning. The lessons can get quite noisy however due to the echo of the pool, this is quite ormal\ and is sometimes necessary when working with children. Would and have recommended this company to my friends and family.
