The service was exlemporary and the steak cooked just right. Plus they managed to get us in there with hardly any notice and ignored that we weren't exactly dressed for a lovely meal out
Have been to this venue several times in the past, but tonight I have been very disappointed. We were celebrating our anniversary and hoped for a special night as it was a lovely warm sunny evening. The onion cake was uncooked and had to be returned, whilst the lovely lady serving us offered a replacement I didn't take her up on the offer as I was put off. My partners whilst cooked was extremely oily. The apple tart was barely cooked, soggy under done pastry with little caramelisation on the fruit. Evening topped off by being told (not asked) to close the curtains by the manager as someone over the other side of the room didn't like the sun on her face. Not in her eyes however as she was sat side on. We had not complained about her noisy child disturbing our evening as we wouldn't want to spoil someone else's evening. I'm a key worker who sees very little natural daylight during my working hours, this was a beautiful summer evening the likes of which of which I have seen little over the past months. I was upset by how this was approached and handled, I had the sun on my face and it was lovely, but my feelings were not considered at all. Ruined my evening and I left upset. I won't be coming back again.
Absolutely fantastic. A delicious meal, brilliant and friendly service, and all done within the new COVID guidelines. The new menu is delicious, I would strongly recommend a visit. JUST MAKE SURE YOU PRE-BOOK seats fill up fast. Looking forward to my next meal out!!
Fantastic. Truly are the masters of steak. Great service and perfect food in a lovely building.
