Excellent customer service and a great range of shoes! Jamie was professional, knowledgable and polite. He set me up with a great pair of running shoes after a very detailed gait analysis. I was never put under pressure to pick a particular pair. I’ll certainly be back soon and would recommend the shop to anyone!

Well may have been good , but the place was completely striped bare , only a few running numbers posted on the wall !
Great shop with some excellent discounts on lots of different types of trainers. Staff are really friendly and are committed to getting you a good pair that fit well and work with your gait. They have a running machine out the back that analyses your footfall for optimum choice! They also offer a great running club on Monday evenings for all abilities! 5k run at 6pm from the shop!
Fantastic service! Visited last Thursday just before 6, when they were about to close. However, 2 shop assistants have offered to stay and help us to select the shoes. Our assistant was very professional, friendly, and smiling. He was so helpful doing an assessment and offering different pairs of shoes. Unfortunately, we didn't buy it on a day, as my son wanted the colour they didn't have in stock. Great customer service, couldn't wish for better. Go and visit, you won't be disappointed. Lovely shop
A good selection of running shoes, varying from road, to trail, to event. The staff are very helpful and (the ones we encountered) are very active runner themselves. When looking for my first pair of trail shoes, I was shown a good price range and the staff member explained the advantages that come with the extra 20, 40, 50 increase on the basic shoe. I made a decision and have had great success with my shoes. I also went back with my partner when she wanted new shoes and another staff member was equally helpful, gave her a good choice and provided a treadmill for her to run on that captured her stride style, which he then used to pick out shoes that would support her better. We are very impressed with the shop and its staff members, and will be returning when new shoes are required!
Went as an inexperienced runner to get fitted for running shoes and the staff member who dealt with me was incredibly thorough and measured my gait in several ways. I managed to come away with a good pair within my budget which he says will last me several years.
Sweatshop has the loveliest running community and lovely staff!! Would love to come back to the running community soon again :)
Wow- my initial service was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately a mistake was made somewhere between purchasing the shoes and returning home and not realizing it immediately I tried out my new trainers for a run at the gym. Low and behold it was an entire size too small and my toes at the end of my run went numb. When I returned home and looked at the box I was shocked to see that the size was a size too small. When I tried to return them the manager was most rude and emphatic that he could not take them back because of a little dirt on the heel. When I told him he could clean them he responded, "I don't have the cleaning materials here." A smart manager would have embraced the opportunity to make amends and take the possible hit. Honestly I know I too have some responsibility for not triple checking my purchase but in this day and age when a customer chooses to purchase shoes in a 'box store' and would like to continue to engage with retail service as such one would hope that the company that claims to be "the nation's best retailer' would have a bit more flexibility and desire to invest in new clients. Perhaps it is managers like this gentleman that are driving stores out of business. Please think twice before giving them your business as they have no business serving interested and eager athletes. Update: 25August After reaching out to corporate and sharing with a VP of customer service my dissatisfaction and overall feelings about the service this VP investigated the matter and explained the circumstances as to why the manager made the call in the first place. He then went on to explain the discretion the manager does have but did not use in this circumstance by offering a refund or an exchange. In the end I was invited back to return my shoes for a full refund. I did this last week and it is all resolved.
