Very nice little cafe tucked away near slaughter bridge. Kiddies toys and nick nacks ,books etc. Very quiet and peaceful albeit for the odd car driving by on the road outside. Enjoyed a cream tea in the garden. An array of tempting cakes on offer as you walk in. Theres a 500 metre circular walk through woodland , an archeological dig , the river camel and river Alan. Theres also kids play area too. Well worth a visit

Great place to visit for a walk through some ancient woodlands, that was the the home of a great battle and the resting place of the legendary King Arthur(if you believe the myth) if not it still has a great mystical feel to it and there is an ongoing archaeology dig in progress unearthing an ancient dwelling.Nice little gift shop and real fire and a hot drink after,oh and Entry is only 5. Recommended if you have an imagination and enjoy a nice walk. Dogs are welcome throughout the site.
Had a fantastic trip round the Arthurian Centre, was a lot of fun. Great history for the adults to enjoy and a fun Halloween walk and activities for the kids. A good price as well for a family trip out. Also got to make some wands and staff which was great. Nice little gift shop with friendly staff too.
Not really a centre all about Arthur and the legend surrounding him. There are a few historically interesting sites and sights here, but they don't have an awful lot to do with King Arthur at all. We (all 3 of us) were all a bit disappointed with the place, and found little to recommend it to others. I think it all needs some TLC spent on it, with some new or re-written signs and information boards... plus, perhaps some clearer indication of what to expect on site, which is an eclectic mix of some historically interesting findings, and not an awful lot to do with the Arthurian Legend.
The children loved starting the trail with making their own wands and staffs. They were really excited about the halloween trail, finding the pumpkin letters which formed an anagram. The whole family were in engaged in embarking on the rambling trail to discover the battleground of Camlann
A lovely place to take a walk and enjoy the Cornish countryside. A few things to see including small gardens and a large stone commemorating the battle that King Arthur died at but overall a simple countryside walk. Lots of signposting and history as you walk along the River and a tea room for refreshments too.
This was an extra stop off while visiting other places and was very pleasantly surprised. It's a lovely place to walk and plenty to see.
Its an ok place for a quick stop off. You won't spend much time here as its only a small place.
