This is a real gem of a place by the canal in Skipton...newly refurbished but still full of real pub charm. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and the food...omg the food was delicious and good size portions too. We will most certainly be back !

Lovely Sunday lunch when we visited today... fresh home cooked food in a traditional English pub setting. Reduced portions available for children. Staff friendly and helpful. Good value for money. Would definitely recommend and return!
What a find..!! First thought it was a simple pub. But decided to chance eating there. The food was sumptuous and the staff so attentive we were sorry that the night had to end. Well done guys and thanks for a perfect night
Nice friendly pub with really good food. We had 3 meals there this week whilst staying in Skipton, all good. We also called some nights for drinks on our way back to our near by Cottage. The present Landlord said that in the past it had a poor reputation he had to work at changing. We found it very welcoming and safe there when we called.
We came across this pub whilst on holiday. We were walking along the canal to see the boats. We really enjoyed our meal. The portions were big and very tasty. The staff were friendly and service was super fast. We highly recommend a visit. Big thank you to the Chef
