Beautiful little country park in the heart of Tonge village. Perfect for dog walkers as there are a few little trails which lead up to an expansive open grass area. Lots of history which you can read about and see. Very peaceful.

A lovely half secret walk very special to know why you need to go there
A very pretty walk through a pear garden and a neglected orchard, past the pond and beyond. No sign of the ruined castle though, nor any advance warning of the foot path closure on your way back
A beautiful location, hidden away in an area where very few people visit. A picturesque pond with a historical backdrop for fantastic photo opportunities. There are also benches for the odd picnic or rest. Ideal for a stroll, feeding the ducks (or the giant fish), walking the dog or just to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Kentish countryside.
Beautiful quiet spot for a picnic and feeding the ducks.
I always loved going to this place as a kid, teenager and now a adult. Only to find that now I took my 5 year daughter to there to feed the duckies, the concrete plinths have all been taken away, so now kiddies cant feed the ducks up close
Quiet little field next to tonge pond for a picnic
Nice place, really hard to get to walking
