Me and my partner came across this AMAZING pub on Friday while staying in the area. Both food and service was excellent! I can safely say that this was the best meal I have ever had. We live in Portsmouth but will be travelling back very soon just for the food! We are looking forward to trying out the tomahawk next. I have never written a review before but I felt it was that amazing I couldn't not. Thanks for the amazing experience and excellent service. See you soon!!

One of the best Sunday roasts I've had in a long time! Vegetarian roast was exceptional, not an after thought. Service was top notch, really nice out door seating to catch the afternoon sun. Highly recommend a visit here
Visited the White Hart this evening with my partner. I had the Big Dirty Triple burger which was filled with lots of gorgeous sweet mustard. There was stacks of cheese and the bacon was incredibly crispy and moreish. The three beef burgers were juicy, flavourful and cooked to perfection. My partners spicy burger had hot cheese and an absolute mountain of jalapeños. All of the salad inside of the burgers was fresh and vibrant. Its so nice to find a pub that actually puts more than one slice of tomato inside a burger. The onion rings were the star of the meal. The batter tasted clean and was so crispy you could snap it. I wish we had ordered more. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They checked on us often and were happy to get extra mayo and ketchup. All of the restaurant tables were immaculately clean, as we're the toilets. The heating was on so it was comfortable inside. Highly recommended!
I have been here twice in the last 6 months and both times I have found the staff to be incredibly warm and friendly. Always feel welcomed and looked after and the food hasn’t failed to impress both times! It is rare that you receive such good service in hospitality these days .. so hats off to The White Hart team
Sunday best lunch! Always a genuine, friendly welcome and great food in a lovely ambiance. Unfortunately no pics of the mains as we were too busy tucking in!
