Spread across five hectares the mill site was originally a Grimsby flourmill, warehouses & offices built between 1889 & 1906. Constructed in red brick, with blue brick, stone & terrracota dressings: welsh slate roofs with stone-coped gables & parapets. At the apex of each Flemish style gable is a large stone plaque beneath a scrolled pediment, one inscribed "ERECTED", the other "AD 1906". The site was granted the status of a conservation area in 1990 and is now Grade II listed. Still a Grimsby building of tremendous character & history, the mill building has latterly found some local council support & potentially a new lease of life with 20th century alterations & preservation activity being undertaken.
