Over the past year I have had face to face contact with several members of staff. They have all been very helpful and knowledgeable relating to my requirements. Their positive and helpful approach was much appreciated especially during covid restrictions.

I had a great experience in store during my eye exam. I felt safe throughout the experience, from getting my test, the health checks and even trying on new glasses. However, after ordering my prescription glasses on 11 March, I am yet to hear that they are ready. I haven’t previously had to wait over 1 week. This is a little too long, especially as on 17 March, the estimated time for completion was updated to 17-20 March. Today is 22 March. So here is where a star was lost from this review.

Optician was great, not much range of frames, especially for people on a budget. Was expecting to pay about 100 but in the end paid over double that. The girl was very pushy when it came to choosing lenses. Wouldn’t go back for glasses but liked the optician

Very helpful and friendly optometrist, who was able to recertify my glasses and contact lens prescriptions. I wasn’t pushed into signing up to the direct debit contact lens prescription, as has often been the case in other VE branches (when I have lived elsewhere). The front of house staff were also very friendly. I will stay loyal to this branch as long as I stay in Dunfermline.

I found the staff in here to be very unhelpful. Ask for advice on glasses that would suit, handed a few pairs and left to it. Rushed into a decision when she came back. Glasses turned up and one lense has a scratch through it. My husband was in today and had the same service. Bullied into buying glasses on the dearer end because the customer service was rude regarding a cheaper frame (which was a similar frame to the dearer one). Won't be back here. To dear and not the friendliest place.

I’ve used this branch of Vision Express for a few years now (Dunfermline, Kingsgate shipping centre) The staff are always very knowledgeable as well as friendly and professional.
