Very welcoming and great pub. Food tasty and was served quickly. Staff was helpful and friendly. A perfect meal on a rainy day in October in a good atmosphere. Very pleased. All was fine.

Popped into this pub for some food after a long hike, and it was brilliant, they had decorated a marquee in the beer garden with Christmas decorations so there was enough space for people to spread out and eat. The food was lovely, everyone enjoyed their meals and the puddings were yummy too! Friendly and helpful staff (we hadn't booked but they found us a space!), definitely recommend coming here if you are in the area :)

Couldn't really fault it! The food came quickly and tasted excellent! The \moving mountains burger\ was really amazing, you wouldn't be able to tell its veggie burger! Would highly recommend to anyone (not just veggies)

Summary: Really delicious food, great cider, 15th century setting! Book in advance! Really really really enjoyed our food here! The pub felt in keeping with the feeling of the village of Corfe but served a mixture of traditional dishes with some 21st century twists. The Moving Mountains Vegan Burger was amazing. I'm not vegan but I really enjoyed it. My fiancee had the pork belly roast which was huge but went down very well! The tempura prawn and the crab stack starters were equally delicious. Highly recommend the Purbeck Draft Cider! Dry but slightly sweet. Yum. Do book in advance otherwise you may struggle to get a seat as we did first time around! )

A weekend stay nearby and a quick Google to find this place. A lovely pub, friendly staff, a live musician, and great food! I would definitely come back!
