despite their name, they dont have owls, nor do they serve owls on their menu. its a decent restaurant and has decent function room for private meals. its got a decent big garden with large pond. if you wanna do one better you could go to kilhey court i guess, if price isnt a thing to you. personally id just go to chippy and save the cash.

Very popular restaurant, lovley inside, make sure u book a down stairs table if you carnt climb the stairs. You will need to book,Great value,7.95 lunch menu, not massive portions but enough for lunch, sweets 3.95,,Good simple home cooked food with fresh veg/chips on the table. We had steak Diane, good sized sirloin.Set in nice grounds at the back,my be opened up in summer.Good quick service u have to get your own drinks from the bar,so not pestered for selling drinks, will visit again. Only niggle, toilets need upgrade, seemed only to be 2,for a busy restaurant.

Lovely meal served by lovely staff. all safety restrictions in place. Very pleasant experience. And the two courses we had not a bad price. .

My wife and I had lunch at The Owls today and it had been a while since eating there. The service was very good and we felt safe at all times. With regards to the food my mushroom soup was fine but the leek and potato soup my wife had was watery. Our main meals of chicken and braised beef were good but chips undercooked.

We had the lamb shank. It looked nice but was dry and fatty. I would not recommend. I will stick with the fat olive.
