I have visited this bureau on many occasions over the years and have always found their advice very helpful and comforting. Unfortunately this was not my experience on my last couple of interactions with this Bureau. I had the unfortunate experience of visiting this bureau just before the first lockdown I believe it was March 2020 and I initially filled out a piece of paperwork at 10.20am. I was told by young girl that an advisor would be presently. I sat in the waiting room with 2 other gentlemen who had also been waiting a long period of time . During this time the “Manager “ and 2 other women went outside for what I can only assume was a cigarette 3 times and they were yet to acknowledge me or the other 2 people waiting. Eventually I gave up at 11:15 as not one single person had acknowledged my existence . Out of desperation I called this Bureau in October 2020 and on the first occasion was hung up on, I then called back and a young woman answered in a very annoyed tone and simply told me they were busy . This Bureau was once a place of customer integrity that cared about clients I shan’t bother them again .

If I could, i'd rate it minus 5 stars. Utterly uselessly wasted time. Didn't help at all. They even didn't care about my problem. I had feeling that some bored housewives have gathered together to have a good time, but I am just another nuisance to get rid of as soon as possible. Will never seek for any advice there. This probably is the reason why this bureau doesn't appear if I search for the nearest to my post code. It just can't be taken seriously. This is my worst experience with Citizen Advice Bureau EVER.
