Very helpful. Couldn't really help with my problem at this stage but gave good advice on who to contact instead.

The staff and volunteers at the CAB provide a quality service regardless of the nature of the visit. It's a shame that such a service is required, but with Government of both sides unable to properly provide a society that works for everyone, then sadly we will need services like the CAB. The staff and volunteers are very knowledgeable and have a wealth of experience. A true community asset.

Popped in today to ask for a wee bit advice on a local issue I had with a troublesome neighbour. Most staff were really friendly, and made a big fuss over my wee dog that was with me. I asked if dogs were allowed in the building, and the two lovely ladies on reception said yes. Whilst filling in forms to 'register' for their open morning advice surgery, other delightful staff came and played with the puppy. Then all of a sudden a Hattie Jacques type character announced loudly and sternly that no dogs were allowed in the building! I was told to tie the wee fellow up outside. I tried this, but no hooks to do this, and had to tie him to a drain in the end. Oh, and then ended up speaking about my issue outside with one of the helpful advisers. He was good, and I went on my way with the info I needed. Shame one member of the team was so anti dog. Maybe there should be a dog flashing point outside and a notice saying 'Dugs not welcome.'
