First visit and really impressed with genuine Jamaican fare. Great value, great quality, great food and great Lightening Bolts & Red Stripe. Recommend Jerked Pork, Curried Goat & sweet Potato Pie. Will be going back again (we booked before we left!)

We live in Ely and just had our first takeaway during lockdown from here. Absolutely fantastic. Genuinely superb food, great portions, reasonable prices. Best goat curry ever by quite a long way. Thank you!

One of the best take aways I have ever had! We are relatively new to the area and walked past the Dutchie and Grill a few weeks ago and thought it may be worth a try. Everything was incredibly delicious and very reasonably priced (12.95 for three courses and a drink!). We had the ackee and saltfish tart, jerk wings, goat curry, fried chicken dumplings and plantain. This was followed by the rum cake. I honestly couldn’t tell you what was my favourite, as everything was unlike anything I’ve had before and so wonderfully cooked. Portions are incredibly generous and my husband is very happy to have plenty of leftovers for tomorrow. We aren’t able to visit restaurants at the moment, but we certainly will be visiting when we can as the staff seemed lovely. Thank you so much Dutchie and Grill for such a wonderful meal and flavour of Jamaican cuisine.

We visited the new Ely restaurant last night, and it was wonderful- it has a lovely atmosphere and a rum punch that is out of this world! Generous portion sizes and the food is delicious! It heats up even better the next day if you can’t finish it all in one sitting! The owner is really friendly and made us feel really welcome! Would highly recommend, and looking forward to going again!
